Meaghan Seagrave is a nationally recognized leader in Canada’s sustainable bioeconomy and has been spearheading low-carbon technology initiatives and industrial transformation opportunities across the country for over a decade.
Meaghan’s educational and professional backgrounds include a graduate degree in chemistry, extensive experience leading a number of NGOs, and over two decades of experience in early-stage technology development and scale-up, making her a knowledgeable support to Canada’s diverse green, clean, and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem and an asset to policy developers across all levels of government.
Meaghan currently provides leadership to Canada’s only green chemistry accelerator – Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC), focused on critical strategic investment, advice and technical services to developers of clean, green and sustainable technologies. She is also the CEO to Canada’s Sustainable Chemistry Alliance, a green-chemistry venture capital fund focused on early-stage investments.
