Funke Yusuf, Treasurer

Funke Yusuf is a finance and governance professional with over a decade of progressive experience across public, not-for-profit, and private-sector organizations. She currently serves as Project Manager – Finance at the University of New Brunswick’s Axis Sales Accelerator, where she oversees financial reporting and compliance for federally and provincially funded programs, including ACOA and NBIF initiatives.

Funke brings deep expertise in budgeting, audit readiness, funder reporting, CRA/HST compliance, and board-level financial oversight. Her background includes senior finance and controllership roles in Canada and internationally, as well as leadership of ERP implementations that strengthened internal controls and improved organizational transparency.

She holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Aberdeen and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management from the University of New Brunswick. A qualified Associate Chartered Accountant, Funke has passed CFA Level II and is actively pursuing CFA Level III. She is committed to strong financial stewardship to support mission-driven organizations advancing dialogue, leadership, and regenerative change across Atlantic Canada.
